I purchased gold coins, but they are not showing up? What do I do?

Bought gold coins but they're not showing up in your account? No worries, we can sort this out! Please DM an admin on Discord with your character or account name, and a screenshot of your purchase if you can. We’ll take it from there and help you resolve the issue.

Is higher or lower weapon speed better?

It depends - if you are not at haste cap yet then a lower weapon speed will help you hit haste cap easier but if you are completely haste capped, the higher the weapon speed the more damage you will do. We have written our damage calculation to multiply your damage by a factor of the weapon speed so higher weapon speed = much more damage as long as you are still at haste cap.

How do I access the new races?

You should be able to see the new races on the character create screen, if you don't you may have not setup your client correctly. Make sure you're using Warspring.exe to open the game, and that you don't have any "set patchlist localhost" in Config.WTF or realmlist.WTF. Which numbers should I look at on my weapon to know how much damage it does?

The normal damage range and damager per second on a weapon is completely irrelvant on our Cataclysm core. You should only be looking at the numbers between < > in the name of the weapon. As you increase weapon speed, the damage per second on your weapon will go down but that is also irrelevant as you get a damage multiplier for the attack speed as mentioned above resulting in more overall damage. The best way to test your damage is to use an addon like Recount or Details to see how much DPS you do. Do not rely on your item tooltip stats or character screen.

Why haven't you buffed or fixed a specific interaction with my class?

We have a massive list of things to do in a limited amount of time to do them so we have to prioritize in a way we see fit. This means that we originally aimed to get every class to have 1-2 playable specs that could progress through all content in an efficient manner. If a class was playable, we didn't worry about every little broken mechanic as there are hundreds on a custom haste server. We keep an eye on all bug reports and will be addressing them as we have time so we appreciate your patience as we slowly but continuously work to a point where all classes feel rewarding to play!

I can't connect, is the server down?

Generally not being able to connect means there may be a mismatch with your client files and the server as you will get the disconnect message if your files do not match the server files. If you are experiencing an issue with connecting for the first time, please reach out to a GM or Admin with a screenshot of your Data and enUS folders & your config.WTF and wow.mfil files so that we can review for any issues that may resolve the connection problem.

Why do mobs have way more HP than it shows on their health bar?

Warsrping has a custom system that allows mob health to far surpass the maximum amount of health traditionally allowed by the WoW client (we can use health values into the billions). To see the proper values, you must not be using an addon which modifies the health bars in any way as most of them are set to the same maximum and will not show the proper health values of the mobs past the traditional limit
